Reading local and national newspapers can really help give you a flavour of what important to Thai people. Get a better understanding of the Thai culture through its news, politics and more.
Don’t worry, you have to be able to read Thai. Thankfully there are two national newspaper favourites – The Bangkok Post and The Nation which can be purchased at most newspaper outlets in the new city.
If you’d prefer to get a more local view of what’s going on in Chiang Mai, then local English newspapers and magazines include Chiang Mai News, Citylife, Guidelines and Chang Puak magazine which can be found in local new stands and tourist hotspots around town.
